Our mission at Associated Family and Life Services, LLC is to foster and nurture the development of the whole family by providing a very engaged experience through mentally, socially and physically stimulating and engaging activities and materials. Understandably, we take every aspect of each individual’s development (social, physical, cognitive, emotional, creative, language, moral, etc) into consideration when carefully planning, choosing and implementing programs, activities and therapies. We strive for excellence in all that we do. We do not discriminate because of race, religion, sex, age (except as required by law) or national origin. Our high standards reflect the high qualify of our program.

Associated Family and Life Services, LLC seeks to attract and employ, simply put, THE BEST. We employ individuals of the highest character and ability, who are highly qualified and dedicated to serve our target consumers.

In addition, we strive to support adults who wish to live and remain living independently.

History of AFLS

The Management Team of AFLS has over 30 years experience in the mental health field. We are locally owned and operated, but our owners have a wide array of work experiences, aside from North Carolina, having also worked in the Cincinatti, Ohio and Washington, D.C. areas.

Therapists need to be Board licensed as LCSW, LPC or LMFT and be certified to practice under North Carolina law. Provisionally licensed therapists may also apply. If you have questions still, please contact our Director of Operations to see if you qualify. We welcome out-of-state candidates as well!

Chaotic System

You MUST be able to work in an environment of change. Mental Health Transformation in North Carolina means that the public system has divested of their services, and Associated Family and Life Services, LLC is one of the agencies filling the vacuum.

AFLS is also working with families and adults experiencing chaos, so their stress and ours can be significant. How do you react to change? How do you believe you would function in a chaotic system?

AFLS Culture

At Associated Family and Life Services, LLC, our staff is bestowed the trust to work hours on their own. However, we do have weekly supervision meetings with your direct supervisor and twice a month supervision meetings with the Management Team. AFLS promotes a highly energetic team atmosphere; and it starts with the hiring process. You should expect after your initial screening you will be asked in for a face-to-face interview with members of the Management Team.
